Conditions of Warranty
- In case of any manufacturing defect, Ideal Orient shall either repair the defect or replace the piece with a product of equivalent value.
- Warranty period is validated from the date of purchase of the unit and is only effective on submission of original sales invoice along with duly filled warranty card.
- For all units installed beyond the municipal limits of the jurisdiction of the authorized service associate, the expenses incurred with regards to deputing the service personnel will be borne by the customer.
- Replacement of the parts would be purely at the discretion of Ideal Orient alone.
- Damage of any product or parts thereof due to any of the following causes will not be covered under warranty:
- User’s misuse, negligence, accident or faulty installation.
- Dirt, limescale or aggressive cleaning chemicals.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Warranty shall not cover any damage or loss to property or life arising directly or indirectly out of defect in the Ideal Orient products. The company’s obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repair or providing replacement of defective parts only under the warranty period.
- Warranty does not cover any accessories external to the product.
- The warranty does not cover components like washers, rubbers, springs and other plastic items.
- Warranty does not cover the taxes levied on the parts supplied during the warranty period.
- In case of any dispute, the warranty is subject to jurisdiction of New Delhi Courts only.

Conditions For Warranty being Void
- If the original invoice/warranty card is not shown to the authorized service personnel at the time of repair. In such cases service will still be rendered but will be on chargeable basis.
- If the site conditions where the product is installed does not confirm to the operating conditions as specified by the company.
- Defect caused by improper use as determined by the authorized service personnel.
- Damage to any part of the product due to transportation is not covered under warranty.
- The warranty automatically expires after completion of period from date of purchase of the item.
Guidelines For Customers
- To ensure uninterrupted pressure of water , it is advisable to keep the pipeline straight with minimum number of bends , which will support smooth flow of water
- Prior to fixing of tiles/plastering , test the working of all concealed fittings on high pressure to check for leakage if any.
- All the supply lines must have vent pipes . These vent pipe help in removing air-locking in the water supply to give a smooth flow of water from the fittings
- Use 25mm pipeline rather than 20mm which will help in overcoming scaling inside the pipelines and will allow sufficient space for the water to flow
- Clean the aerators at regular intervals for a perfect foam flow of water.
- Clean the faucets with normal soap or chalk powder to remove scaling or stains .Do not use strong detergents, harsh cleaning agents and acid to clean them as they will damage the chromium finish used on all Ideal Orient products. Instead , use a soft sponge or wet cloth with soapy water or diluted vinegar to protect the color coated finish
- To protect the fine finish of fitting from dirt , stains and other damages during construction , cover them with cloth or polypack after their installation , till they come into actual use .
- Insist on genuine spares from company’s local service center.
